FULL VPN CLIENT
(Client) refers to the software side installed at your office as opposite as Server.

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network.

It provides the ability to access to all data flow from the beginning of the drilling to the very last real time acquisition (updated every second)**.
You also have the ability to download daily or weekly geological reports via a secured access to the Mud Logging embedded FTP server***.
We embedded our own secured "chatting" system to stay in touch with our team.

You are virtually INSIDE the mud logging unit.
Everything is secured through a strong encryption VPN and an up to date Linux Server.

Prerequisites :
To access Data PipeLine Services, you have to provide to the Mud Logging Unit an internet connection (at least 128 Kb/s depending of what kind of services you need), with access to the router (as we need to deal with NAT and Port Forwarding).
Reliability of the pipeline is fully dependent of the reliability of the internet connection.
As for the client, you will need at least a computer with an Internet Browser (Firefox recommended) comptabile with SSL and JAVA (V1.5 as a minimum installed on the computer.
YOU DO NOT NEED to have a static IP address (but you still can) as we have a professional dynamic DNS solution.

Options :
Possibility to securely manage and maintain your client computer from our computing department (need some firewalling configuration as we need to deal with NAT and Port Forwarding)
Possibility to have (encrypted) data redundancy
